DERBY ROAD FUND AGM 2025 Contribution Figures for 2025/26 - agreed at the AGM held on 15 July 2025
The current DRFA contribution levels are based on the Council Tax band system for households and were voted in by residents at the 2021 AGM. At the last three AGMs, the DRFA Committee has not made any increases and so the contribution levels have been frozen for four years.
However, in light of increases in some fixed costs covered by the Fund in recent years, this year the DRFA Committee proposed a modest increase based on the Retail Price Index (RPI) figure of 2.7% for September 2024 in order to take this into account. This figure was chosen as it is often used by public bodies if there is no specified fixed annual percentage increase.
The contribution levels for each Council Tax band for 2025/26 are given in the table below. These were approved at the AGM held on 15 July 2025.
We are mindful that households are facing rising costs in a number of areas at present, but we hope you will agree that the proposed change is a modest one that is reasonable in the current economic climate and after four years of no changes to the contribution levels.
